Has anyone watched "The Secret" and used it in their lives successfully?

My oldest son & I were in Borders bookstore one day and he suggested that we buy the DVD of "The Secret" cause he'd watched it in school and thought I'd like it. I watched only part of it so far cause of time constraints but it's been pretty interesting. For those of you who haven't heard about it, it's basically how the law of attraction works to attract or bring things to your life, whether it's good or bad things. Whatever you visualize & always think about will eventually materialize in one form or another. For example, if I am running late for work & keep on looking at the little clock in my car & worrying about being late, it always seems that I end up late cause that's all I can think about. Or, if I am waiting for a check coming in through the mail but I keep on thinking to myself that there are only bills & junk mail in there then my check comes in later than I expected. I never really thought about it until I watched the DVD. I was just wondering if anyone has used the methods in "The Secret" and have been successful or just what your experience was with it. Do you believe in the law of attraction at all? Thanks!!
