life without a partner?

That depends, if you have never had a partner you might be able to live a happy life without one, but if you have had a partner and lost him/her then you might miss that person and not be able to be happy. A lot depends on how mentally strong you are and your outlook towards life, always keep it positive. I think it is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all. Cherish the good moments and forget the bad ones.

I believe in the saying " no man is an island" but, I respect for those who prefer to be alone since that is their happiness![/i]

After many many years I lost the love of my life, my partner is in heaven now and I have remained alone ever since. I am adjusting to it and I am comfortable being alone. I do not know what the future has in store for me but I am ok now.

Their are people who rather stay single and their happy about their life. They focus more on their carreer or goals to achieve and their contented with what they have. I think some people can survive without a partner in life, They can't meet the right person for them,still they go on and move on facing life all alone. There are some people who are happy being alone and there are some that can't live without someone beside them. It depends where you are comfortable. You won't know it yet not until you are in the situation. That's why there are "oldmaid" as what they called.
