I dont keep secrets from my parents but i also dont talk to them so its not an issue...

It's not that I dont trust my parents but I dont tell secrets to them. It's just that they always act kinda weird and they're always impulsive.

yeah but i try not to. as much as possible i want to open up because i don't want to hide secrets from them.=D

there is a few things that i keep from my mom, but nothing bad. just little things like spending to much money, drinking to much, or one time i pawned a ring she gave me. when she asked me if i still have it i got worried she wanted to see it. i got it back. thank god.

I think nearly everyone keeps secrets from their parents but maybe not so much as secrets it is just the same as them they just don't tell everything, there is no need everyone has their own little private things and that is ok...

I wouldn't say that I keep secrets from my parents, but I see no reason to tell them every detail of my life. Once you are an adult, some things should be private matters & that includes from your parents. I could talk to my mother about anything, but I choose not to.

When I was a child, I also tell all my things to my parents. But now I grew up, I don't like to share my things to my family. The generation gap between my parents and I. It make misunderstanding between my parents and I. So I often treat my thing by myself.

I always do keep secrets from them in everything, becausei don't to hear them screaming, shouting, and freakin' on me. Sometimes i don't understand why,i do usually keep secret on where i spent my money, where did i go last night, or i went to a party or i have a textmate . The just surprise that one day i told them im going to marry lolz.

hi there. i agree with you. when i was a kid i used to tell everything that has happened. but now it's not the case. i hide many things and it's because of the fear. i try to tell my mom about it, but the moment i see her i just change my mind. my mom actually finds out from my face if something is disturbing me. i just don't know how she does that. happy mylotting.

opposite to you ms. surpriseme, i never had the habit of telling my parents every single thing that happened to me. i always feel comfortable telling it to my friends instead. i wonder how it felt to be that open to your parents LOL
