Is watching movies really add values to your life?

Yes it does! Some movies do give us benefits specially those true to life movies. Somehow we people manage to apply those lessons or good thoughts and make life more fruitfull and enjoyable.

Yes ofcourse, maybe it also depends on what kind of audience are you. Because some audience treat movies like a temporary entertainment or leisure time, after watching they just don't care about what they saw anymore. And the other one (like me) connects with the movies I watch especially if it is a good movie. So I think if the movie gives ideas, connections, message, values, somehow it shares something to its audiences. I'm sure some people would understand what I meant.

IMO some movies ARE benefical to our lives and we can actually learn a great deal from many of them or have our eyes opened about certain topics etc...There have been several dramas that I've watched over the yrs that had great messages in them should one decide to pay attention..

I think watching movies is benefitial to my life. Not so much because of the movie, but because of the circumstances. If we go out to a movie that usually means hubby and I are actually getting to spend time together and that doesn't happen as often as I'd like. If we rent movies we usually have the whole family together watching and thats always a good thing. No matter what the movie is about everyone is spending time together. And yes some movies are benefitial in their stories. A lot of times, if it is based on a true story or if it centers around a certain time period something will catch my kids attention and they will do further research after the movie to learn more and thats always a good thing.
