are you a good pedestrian?

I am a goody two shoes pedestrian now as so many people are hurt crossing the road every day. Are you good at the lights? do you always wait until the green man/walk sign? Or do you nip across if you see a space? i don't know if the last part applies to our American cousins as i don't know anything about the traffic there, is darting across the road ever an option in the US?

I live in Mexico, and here to be a pedestrian is a high-risk profession. I've been all over the world, including Asia, where elephants, cows and chicken mingle in the traffic. But nowhere, I mean nowhere have I experienced such a blatant and total disregard for pedestrians as in this country. It is REALLY dangerous to cross a street here, and traffic-lights don't give you any protection either.

hi,
i could say that i am a good pedestrian because i only across the street if the light will turn to green for walking pedestrian,but of course i am not a perfect so i still tried to across streets even the light of car is green or go especially it happens when i am late at work.

I am a good pedestrian. I will always wake sure the road are safe to cross. I will follow the signal.

Yeah, I'm a good pedestrian. I will wait the green lights first then I will cross the road. I don't want to get hurt from other car. But in small road that there sin't any traffic lights. I have freedom to cross at any time, just make sure that there sin't any car when I crosse the road.
