I have seen this movie so many times I cannot even count them now.I have the sound track as well. I saw it again this last week. TWICE! It still effects me the same way. So touching, so sweet. And the friend played so wonderfully by Rupert Everett was he not the iltimate?!

I also find myself going back to this film often as I've come to value my best friend (now my husband) as I came close to losing him. Long story short, made a mistake but have recovered and have gotten my life back on track. Like the main character, I learned who my best friend really was and I'm thankful for the chance.

Great movie! So many elimates. I think one of my favorite parts is when George is in that meeting and she calls him and interupts. George was great! Glad you had the chance too.

Funny thing was I was thinking of that same scene and couldn't get it out of my mind! Yes a friend like George is great and sometimes we need that kind of friendship to keep us on track.
May we all have friends like George; the ones we can go to and get the truth even though it's hard to hear at the time.
