What should children do in their spare time?

Hi,my friends,may I have your attention?
Let's talk about what should children do in their spare time.
I live in a city of China,I found that the children in the city are often busier than adults.They have to attend some classes like dancing,music or art at weekend or in the holiday.Many of them are compelled to study.
Perhaps,parents hope that their children have bright prospect when they grow up.And they will benefit from above classes.
However,I don't agree.I think children have the rights to enjoy their childhood,they can do what they want to do.Gradually they will discover what they are interested in and do their best in respective fields.
What's your opinon?

Hello there Jenny. :). I must insist that children should play in their spare time. They should be allowed to get dirty, to perspire, to discover. It builds up a lot of confidence and trust for other people. Cliche it may be, but all study and no play makes a child dull. They should be allowed to learn their way too, in this way they will know what they want, and decide and strive to get it.

If I have a son or a daughter,I will love him/her but not spoil him/her.

I agree,I think that children need to have the right to choose on what they want to do during their free time because at an early stage of life they should not be exposed in things like being stressed and another thing is that it feels like that their childhood is being taken away from them.Hope you liked my response,have a nice day.

Personally, I believe in dividing up my kids time into segment. Let them have some time to play, some time to watch tv, some to time read, and some time to learn this and that house chore. That way, I see them developing into useful citizens, especially useful members of the family.

Yes,it is a good method.Just play.But it is important for children to play with their parents.
