Have you ever read the book ? Is it good ? I just read a few lines on chapter 1 and it sound promising. The storyline if i'm not mistaken revolves around how a castle build a church in time, am i wrong ?? Anyone care to share your opinions ??

It's a great novel! The story centers around a town building a cathedral, and about the people in the town and the trials they face. There is also a sequel to the book, called World Without End, which is very good as well.

This is one of the selection of Oprah Book Club, so I'm also interested to read this book to find out if this is as good as what Oprah's said.

If you are referring to Ken Follett's book, it is a very good book as are all of his others. I enjoy his writing and have read probably 75% of his books. I am always looking for those that I don't have yet. Go ahead and buy it; you won't be disappointed. By the way, you should be able to find it at most used bookstores as it was written about 10 to 15 years ago. He has many others since then.

This book is so good - one of my top 3 favorites. I have read it many times over the past several years. In fact, I just re-read it about a month ago so I could read another of Ken Follett's books called World Without End. It is set in a similar timeframe and the characters are decendents of the characters in Pillars of the Earth. I am almost done with it and it is also very good.
