so wonder how high the prices are going up due to these wonderful hurricanes in the gulf that have happened or are happening?

Oil prices actually went down again today as hurricane ike isn't suppose to head for the oil producers in the gulf. Oil was at the lowest price, 104, since April. What is frustrating is that the price of oil keeps going down but the price at the pump isn't going down. Even when it does go down it does so very slowy. When oil rises the price at the pump sure goes up quick. I wish it would work that way when oil dropped. Once they know they have you paying they are slow to lower it.

yeah i wish it happened that way to. but it never does. well hopefull something happens soon and those prices go back down to .99 cents. lol

Back in the 50's and early 60's I sold many a gallon of gasoline for 19.9 cents a gallon. You could fill up the average car for less than $5. There were so many people selling gasoline the competition was real high and there was a good old fashioned gas war going on just about all time. The oil companies figured out if they eliminated most of the places we could buy gasoline they could control the price. They are robbing us blind and we are sitting and doing nothing to stop it.

Well theres a good chance the price will go up for gas. I hope it doesnt, but will a few cents make much of a diffence considering what the price is at now.

im positive there going up. i was just wishful think i guess. lol. always when a hurrican happens it goes up. and just before a hurrican happens the prices seemed to go down. wonder if there was something with that. lol.

I don't know how much longer the people of this world, especially the US are going to sit still and let this bunch of rich crooks treat us like idiots. The only reason gasoline has come down a little is because too many people have cut back on their driving and the sales of gasoline is down. The people of this country need to unite and demand our government get off their butts and put some of these jerks in jail where they belong. Price fixing in this country is against the law and that is exactly what they are doing. Our problem is too many of our employees in Washington are part of the oil industry and making big bucks off the their employers,(The American People).
They had a little short clip on the National news tonight that said Iran is converting all their cars to Natural Gas where they can sell this high dollar oil to the rest of the world. Our US oil producers are selling to markets that pay more and shorting us in the US to keep the price up. The last I heard that is called taking from both ends of the horn. They are robbing us on two fronts.
