Hey guys, Does anybody know any good brower based rpgs/mmorpgs? I've been getting bored while working on my homework, and having a bit more free time since my job went part time. If I could have something to take up some of my time in a fun way that would be great. Thanks for any suggestions. ;)

Why does it need to be web based? You should try playing EQ2 on the Live Exchange servers if you want to play an MMO RPG and make money both. You can legally through the game buy and sell characters, items, and currency. If your system can handle it and you have the time I highly recommend it.

I was looking for web based games so I can play them at school. I won't have my personal computer with me all the time, and when I'm researching I like to have a game to go back to every now and then. I do play other MMORPGS like WOW and Mabinogi. I have less and less time to put into them. I always hope they will make something like RuneScape, but it hasn't happened yet.

The best way to find them is to just search. But some of the ones that I play, and am quite addicted to are: www.mafiareturns.com Its a mafia style RP game. www.musicrivals.com A music related game where you create a band and manage it. They are both a lot of fun once you get into them.

The Music Rivals sounds fun. I'll check it out later today.

I've been playing 9 dragons from acclaim. It's a online game, but you do need to download the software. I have met some great people there, and having a lot of fun killing them off. (it's not as vindictive as it sounds) If you are interested, send me a pm with your email, and I'll send you an invite to the site.

Go anywhere to the Proboards support forums. I think it's support.proboards.com, and there you can find loads of RP forums. Those people are often desperate for members and few of the sites last very long, but you just might find something you like. I used to play Furcadia, but you have to download it and it's more childlike, however there are parts of it just for 18+ people.

I'll try that site out. I use to play Furcadia back in the day but I got bored. That was a weird little world. hehe
