Have you tried talking back to your dad (or mom)?

It happens every time. Even though I always try to prevent it from happening. It really sucks cuz I always try to fix my relationship with my dad, which is very ok right now. Until he gets mad at me for some reason. Sometimes pointless, but I still don't have the right to talk back~ but then I do! Over and over again. What's it with you guys? Same or what?

It's a bad habit you've gotten yourself into. Especially now that you are 18 and no longer a smart-alecky kid. It is normal for teenaged boys to talk back to their fathers, but you should be outgrowing that phase. Remember that you are now an adult, and should be showing a little more respect to your dad.

I was bought up in the era that adults are always right even though sometimes they were not ,but one learns to hold ones tongue ,it does make relations within the family run smoother and gets easier with practice.Don't shout, and when you feel the need to speak say it in a pleasent manner then talk about something else ,I hope you and your dad become good friends.
