Have you ever had a relationship with a guy/girl who is 10 - 15 years younger?

There was a time in my life when I met someone 12 years younger than me. I dont quite understand what kind of relationship we had, because I have a boyfriend by that time...and he has a girlfriend as well. he was my textmate, then we met, go out, watch a movie, we kiss, talk things which we have not talked even with our partners. After a few weeks I have to go back home, we still burn a lot of hours over the phone. But then I got married and move out of the country, never heard of him again. he was so young that time, but I wonder how on earth I felt something special for him. I still wonder untill now. Does age difference really matters in a relationship, or it depends on how two people handle the difference ?
