Are you afraid for dark place?

I don't mind dark places, especially those that are very still & calm... I find it very relaxing to be in a dark, quite place with nothing much going on around...

When I was a kid, I truly afraid dark places, I remembered that I can't sleep if the light wasn't on. Now, I'm still afraid with the dark places but not that afraid though, it just give me creeps and really don't like to stay in a dark room or place.

Like you I was also very much afraid of dark when I was young. But now I know what is there in the dark. Infact my dad used to give background sounds, if I am to go to some dark places. Now I am training my kids to be brave enough. They are not that afraid of dark and also we have placed light switches in a reachable height.

Hi vimaal, As children we are all afraid of the night and when our parents switch our bedroom lights of and leave us in the dark, we imagine all sorts of theings because we cannot see in the dark and that is while we are afraid of the dark, but I'm not afraid of the anymore either now that I'm all grown up. Yes, I am. At my age I sleep with the lights on. I can't sleep comfortably when it's dark. I usually have nigthmares when it's dark. This maybe because of habit. When I'm all alone in the house, I turn on all the lights and I feel okay and safe. Cheers.

Just like you i was once afraid of dark places when i was a kid but now i was able to conquer it,however after wathcing a horror flick or thriller movies i just get afraid again because someone or something might come out of the dark.Hope you liked my response,have a nice day.

i do not think i am afraid of a dark place .but it gives me creeps.i prefer not to go to a dark place.

When I was a child I was afraid of dark, but when I became older I realize that there's nothing scary in it. I'm not afraid of dark places but I have vivid fantasy so I prefer not to go into them.

it depends,when i am with some other guys ,i won't be afraid ,and it is unnecessary.and it is also decided by the place where you are.not all dark place will create the fear feeling for me!
