Okay, short, I know, but i'd like initial reactions. A Dayton, Ohio jury convicted a mother of microwaving her one month old baby to death. She was sentenced to life in prison.

I'm assuming you want to know whether she should have got the chair or lethal injection instead cause she certainly didn't deserve anything less than life. Personally I think life in prison is a good sentence here. People underrate the prison experience. Try talking to someone that has been in for twenty or so years. They will tell you how much fun they are having. Some, very few, but some criminals do enjoy being in. However the majority would rather get along with society and be on the outside. So yeah I think this was enough. I guess one could argue she deserved the same fate of the child but one would have to wonder when getting revenge what makes us less what we are and more what she is. Just my opinion...

Oh, you're right and I know that .. just let anger get the best of me. They had tried and tried and tried, fought the good fight, but thankfully lost at getting parole after 25 yrs. I think that's what I was most angry about, that parole would even be considered after being convicted of such a sickening crime. Thank you for your reply. :)
