Me and my now husband used to txt message a lot and now though we don't text as much. The only time that we will text each other is when the other is not able to talk on the phone at the time and they are going to the store later or whatever. But otherwise we don't text as much any more. I say we may only do about 50 text messages a month. When we text alot we used to text like 900 messages a month.

i dont like to text. There are a few things that you canĀ“t write. E preffer to call. Imagine that you text something just for fun, but the other person does't know in for fun, it can create bad reactions. In a call, the way you talk lets know that you are in fun

yes i use a lot of text messaging too because it's cheaper in home country. i make send 200 messages with just one person, others are 50 texts. but in australia, calling is way cheaper than text messaging, so i use my phone here to call more often

No, this is something that I normally don't do as much.. But, I do get many texts on my cell phone from people whom are looking for an old carrier that used to have the same number as I. This has become very annoying.

I send around 50 to 100 text messages a day. I usually text my girlfriend or my friends. Here in the Philippines, it is cheaper to send a text message than it is to call someone. I prefer to text people but when I'm in a hurry, I'd rather call.

I used to prefer to text someone instead of calling, but now, even though my phone has a full keyboard, I feel like it takes too much time to have a conversation via text. It can take an hour just to have a short conversation, you have to wait for the other person to respond and wait for your phone to receive the text, etc. It is also annoying when you are texting and there is no cell phone service, I get stressed that the other person might think that I am ignoring them. But I still text at least a few times every day.

I have never been one for text messaging, and I feel it is a lot easier to call someone and tell them what you need to tell them or ask them questions, and it takes less time than it does to text message, and I feel that text messaging costs too much to get it,and I only text message every once in a while, and I used to text message my fiance before she moved in with me,so now I can talk to her without calling or text messaging, and I text message one of my friends sometimes, even though I try to avoid him because I do not trust him that much.

I have blackberry & I get emails on my phone as well... Personally I don't like text messaging or emails but I do it because of my work situations... There are few months that I've done over 5,000 messages, including text & emails, through my phone... I rather talk to a live person...

I don't message much, unless I have something to say that involves a lot of information, then a message might be much easier for the other person to remember. Either that, or if I'm busy at the moment or don't feel like talking to the person then I'll send a message. Otherwise, calling is a good method of communication. I can be on the phone for hours at a time.
