A couple of years back I use to play alot of online games.I met a girl in one of the chatrooms and I gave her my number and she gave me hers.We talked a couple of times but that was it.
Have you ever given your number or adress out ? how bout your real name when chatting?

There are so many cases of frauds and tricksters online every now and then, so I won’t give my real name, phone number and address to any online friend though we always chat happily in chatroom frequently. Sometimes friends in real life also couldn’t be trusted what’s more about friends online that we have never seen before.

I have never given my address but have given my number a few times. Very few though. I never give me my real name. And I feel secure that I can back out at any time. My phone number can't traced. So I do feel relatively safe guarded.

e never gave my name or number not sure about name if so it would just be my first name and that would be it i don't get personal online

The number one rule in chatting is don't give out your real information because of the possibility of some perverts out there to stalk you when they know where you live, where you go to school, and so on and so forth. YOu need to protect your identity.
And if ever you and the other chatter set up and EB date, don't go alone. Have someone there with you. Don't let the other person know you have a company coming to meet him/her. Just learn to protect yourself from possible predators. Our world, sad to say, is filled with filthy scum.
