"I don't know what's going on, but at this point I'm thinking, Why don't they just get the heck out of the house?" - Bill Dauterive, King of the Hill. My partner and I think our apartment is cursed. And no, we're not joking about this. Ever since we moved in it's been one thing after another. Last year we had no problems at all in the apartment. Well, the tub was backed up once but that was it along with the ceiling above our shower. This year started out with the ceiling above our shower of course. Let's not talk about that one. But now, at midnight here in West freaking Virginia we have a mysterious leaking cabnet. Yes a mysterious leaking cabnet. Three maintenence men have come to look at it and still don't know what's going on. To elaborate, I came out of the shower to hear a dripping sound. Thinking the faucet in the kitchen was off I went to investigate. Low and behold it wasn't the faucet it was the hood above the stove that was dripping water along with the cabnet around it. Not believing what I was seeing I went and got my partner who tells me just moments before she was in the kitchen and that wasn't happening when she was in there. So, getting dressed quite quickly from being in a towel I went to our front desk to tell them what was going on since that was kinda an emergency. They call maintenence in and one guy comes in to look at it first. He calls another guy in to come look at it. Well, he comes in and looks confused as anything. He in turn calls someone else to come in and look at it just to proove he's probably not nuts. Needless to say, the leak has stopped, we've stumped three maintenence in one night and my partner and I think we live in a possessed apartment. We're expecting the walls to drip blood at any moment. Has anything like this ever happened to you before? If so what was it?

The former roommate and I moved from a first story apartment to a single story rental house. for the first year it sounded like someone dragging furniture on the upper floor off and on. We guessed it might be squirrels or rodents - even tho we never saw a sign of them, then a few years later a plumber went up and said he saw no sign of rodents so, no idea who was dragging "furniture" on the non-existant upper floor oh - and this place had NEVER had an upper floor
