I loved all seven books in the CHRONICLES OF NARNIA series. In the Lion, the Witch and The Wardrobe, I cried when the witch and her click sacrificed Aslan. I felt something for Aslan, and also for Lucie and Susan who witnessed the brutal killing when they observed the entire sceen take place in hiding away from the witch. I felt something for Peter who blamed himself for Aslan's death and turned around and fought for the side of good. His selfish ways disappeared and he changed for the better and came out a hero in the end, along side his brother and sisters.

I also thought the whole series was wonderful! The way he imbued animals with such personality and character was amazing. Reep-a-cheep was just one excellent example. Many people who don't know that he meant them to be allegorical rather than just entertainment don't even see the religious aspects. I just thought it was marvelously entertaining and a fast read. I like the idea of "once a king or queen in Narnia, always a king or queen in Narnia".
