What's changed in the last 7 years?

There will be a lot of posts about 9/11 today. I'm not going to talk about what happened. I'm sure it's all been said already and much better than I could say it. I'm just going to ask a question. How do you think things have changed since then, for the worse, for the better, really about the same?
