Do you turn up late on a date?

All the readers must be thinking - How unromantic this fellow is? Late on a date? But believe you me, this is indeed an important trick. Arrive fifteen or twenty minutes late on a date and you will find it to be absolutely different than the routine ones. You will first beg for a chance to explain. But you should be ready with a convincing story and most impotantly, you should be able to narrate it with confidence; and then you will have all the fun. Your buddy almost in tears might take pledge not to accompany you on a date ever. It might otherwise happen - your budy on fire and would tear you apart. But then if you pass out this test with flying colors, you would sure win her for years. Suprise her with some thing - say tow tickets for a movie premier or a chistmas ball in a five star restaurent. A good quality dinner with everything of her coice-Red wine, chineese soup, and fish and chiken in hot chinese gravy, or things she likes and in the manner she prefers. A candle lit corner of a restaurent which is not crowded; all these after a pleasent couch ride in the town, I am sure will please her. Later you may propose and present some thing of her liking. And at the end of it, take her to drop at her residence. Don't seek any favor. Let her realise that you truly love her. And you will see - she will call you up early morning the next day to tell you how she relished the food and enjoyed herself in your company.

If I turned up late for a date, i'd find that she would have left and refused to ever see me again! Sounds like a high risk strategy to me! If you want to have a power battle, why not pick someone who does not mind being subservient first? I suspect you will end up lonely if you try that trick too often!

Yes, I agree the strategy involves risk. It all depends upon the kind of relationship you have built up and also the culltural back ground of both involved. It is not a formula or something one should apply to solve problems. One must apply the trick judiciously. Thanks for your comment.
