New job....

Well today i started my new job. I'm bartending at the local bar. It was alright besides the chain smoking. Today is th first day of the state wide smoking ban here, but some bars are still eligible to smoke in. It's fairly low key, but I still have a major headache.Hopefully tomorrow is better. Have you or know anyone who bartends? Do you/ they like it?

I bartend. I work at Chilis as a bartender. I have done it for years. Once you really know what you are doing and get a strong clientel or regular crowd you can make really good money. Fortunately for me there is no smoking because we are a restaurant. Give it a chance, but I will tell you first hand that bartending is definitely not for everyone. You have to remember that people change once they start drinking and if you are light hearted or let them get to you they will every time.
