Its when you cover up the degrading or embarassing aspect of a certain word by replacing it with another word that seemed less degraing or embarassing. like say, toilet cleaner is replaced to become...Faculty Supervisor. The 'faculty' being the 'toilets' lol. I heard this somewhere in Malaysia.

A euphemism is a way of saying something indirectly, like: Did they do the horizontal Mambo?

It's a nice way of putting something that is not very nice.... It's in a Jack Johnson song about a dude that treats his girl poorly and tries to fluff it up by saying hey baby, I wasn't that bad... it was a long time ago... okay, enough with the Jack song..
