When and why did you open a Paypal account?

I opened paypal account last week when I joined mylot.I have only heard about paypal before,but that was my first time.I hope to get my payment soon.Is it possible for me to change the money in my paypal account to my alertpay account.If you have any idea share with me.Thank You.

I opened a PayPal account when I joined myLot actually. I read about mylot on the net and when I decided to join, I opened a Paypal account. It was excellent timing that my bank had just given me a credit card which I was able to use to verify my paypal account. Aside from mylot earnings, I also use PayPal to receive funds from other sources of income on the net.

I opened mine to sell on e-bay, but I haven't used it for that I did pay someone through it. They used my credit card and I didn't have to give my card number to anyone else. I felt safer that way.

Til now there's not a single penny in my paypal account lolz.. Anyway it sure is a good way for monetary transactions even though i haven't used it much til now

I don't 100% remember the day I opened mine, but I recall an eBay customer of mine telling me about it when he wrote about winning one of my auctions, and I agreed to it, especially since it meant I got my payment quickly and I got $10 just for signing up with him, then another $10 when I got my brother, who had just gotten into eBay, signed up. I like it personally, but since being taken over by eBay, they've gotten a little anal about how they take payments for stuff.

Honestly, I opened my Paypal account for the soul purpose of receiving money from my participation to online earning sites like mylot. I opened this two years ago. It has been always inactive because I stopped joining online earning sites. But recently, I saw an item in ebay that I really like and that item is not available here in the Philippines so I don't have a choice but to use paypal. To be able to use paypal, I verified my account with them using my credit card and waited for the credit card company's billing so I could input my four digit verification. After inputting my 4 digit verification I contacted the seller and paid for my item.

I opened a new PayPal account only last 01 August 2008. (I had an old Paypal account but I have to close it because my address cannot be verified.) Well, I re-joined PayPal because I started to do some online purchasing in E-bay.. I also believe paying by PayPal is safer than directly exposing your Credit Card details to other online store..

I can't remember exactly when I first opened an account with Paypal I think it was around 2001-2003 when I was buying stuff on ebay. Current account is from 2005 though.

i'm planing to open net shop for long time, such as Ebay. it refers to the payment way. it seems Paypal the only way that customers trust. but i first i have to apply a credit card to verify the paypal account and draw money. It's a pity that i still have no debit card or credit card. I wish i can get it as soon as possible, opening net shop is my big wish.

I opened up a paypal account Years and years ago when I first joined EBay back in like 1998 or so, and it sat dormat for years ( too much real life going on ) and only started using it over 3 years ago, when I seriously had to start selling on Ebay, there is always that money issue in ones life right? Ways to make ourselves some money. Paypal is ok at times but it is also very frustrating too; I hope to start seeing some money come into my empty account via mylot; if I can just get over this nasty virus I have then I can start joining in on more conversations here; I am now on week 2 of this virus no come MOnday it will be the start of week 3...GEEZZ!

I opened a paypal account a little over a year ago. I only have it because I participate in online surveys and that is how a lot of the sites pay!

I opened my paypal account in 2003 I believe, I could be mistaken though. It was so I could purchase things off of eBay, because I got sick and tired of going into the bank to get money orders, because I didn't want to give my credit card number to the sellers, because of all the scam people.

I opened an account in PayPal because i wanted to buy and sell stuff at ebay. i upgraded it to premium account because i wanted to be paid immediately.

PayPal is the best. I have had my account for over 7 years now and never had any problems with it. I first opened it to by stuff from ebay as it was the safest way to pay for goods. Now I use it mostly for online earning.
