why do people are preccupied in money?

from sunrise to sunset,from sunset to sunrise people never stop doing things just for the money,get out in the street and look at every face you can discern that money and having money is what is in their mind.everywhere you go even online still money is the talk of the screen.when you go home from work, there again my wife will not even ask me if i am starving to death, and all i got is a tiger look eye asking me for money...haaaay!

People are preoccupied with money because they are the key to everything or most things in life from better health services to education to standard of living.
