It is quite understandable, & you are doing the right thing by concentrating on your schoolwork. You might not even have your weekends when it comes to that term paper. That's something you need to get to work on immediately when it is assigned, & not just something you can pull an all-nighter for to attempt to get done. I'm not trying to scare you, but to let you know that if you get started on it right away, you'll be happy with the results, & so will the instructor, who will hopefully be there to help out when you get stuck on something. Quite often, you need to do that homework. Not only to hand in for a grade. It is a leaning experience for that next exam. Particularly in math, the instructor can only explain so much, & it is a learn by doing. If you don't do the assigned problems at least, you cannot do well on the exam. It is also the same thing with the sciences. You need to do the assigned homework problems at least. This applies to foreign language class as well. You need to practice it to learn it.
