Try to live a stress free life. Don't put any harmful products in your body. Be careful what you inhale and breathe. Be careful of all of the foods that you eat. Be mindful of how you treat others. Accept Jesus Christ as your own personal Saviour. Stay out of trouble of any kind. Keep your mouth shut, if not asked to speak..

Many thanks for nicely responding and sharing your insightful view points. The natural environment and place of habitation is getting so polluted day by day,it becomes extremely difficult to prevent harmful products entering our body,as we are fully connected to the eco-system and the surroundings.I feel, one needs to enhance one's body immunity, vitality and resistance, maintainig a life of discipline, orderliness and restraint. Have a nice day!!

As I am one of those that does not particularly care about living another 43 years just so I can hit one hundred, and am happy I am almost 58, I see no real secrets. Some people never smoke or drink or do anything harmful to their bodies that don't reach the century mark. Some people do all the wrong things and do live to see it. Me, personally, I smoke, I have taken strong drinks and I eat lots of junk foods. Will I make it to 100? Don't know, don't worry about it. I just prefer living in ways that makes me happy

exercise - exercising and keeping fit
There are many secrets for longevity. Though they may change with the people lifestyle, I can give you few common ones. Choose a reasonably vigorous exercise programme and stick with it regularly. It could be anything that you love - walking, aerobics,jogging,swimming..It has been proved that exercise keeps your mind sharp and improves mental health, and also helps to avoid depression. Take up a challenging work . It helps to engage yourself with something all time. Reduce or even leave the habit of smoking and drinking. Involve yourself in some relaxation technique like yoga. Don't have grudges. Develop a sense of forgiveness. And above all prayers help it too.

I do absolutely agree with you.A recnt medical report reveals that regular exercise,a happy married life, hygienic habits and positive thinking help prolong one's life span significantly. It further adds that smoking, drinking, eating fast food, and stressul life reduce longevity by nearly 20 years.Have a nice day!!

Thanks for the nice words. You are right. The points you have mentioned are very important for a healthy life. Fast food also plays a major role in the lifestyle. I could see a great increase in the percentage of people who eat fast foods in India. Though it shows that the standard of life has increased, it is not a healthy trend. We are actually disturbing the body health by having fast foods very often...Have a nice day.Happy mylotting.

i think it would be nice to live a long life if your health is good especially your mind but so many times your body outlasts your mind & that is so sad. i've seen it in my family & it is heartbreaking. if you can live & have your mind i think it would be great. i don't know what causes it. do u ever go to a nursing home. it is a sad place to go. i have 3 of my immediate family in the nursing home.

Many thanks for giving a nice reply and sharing your personal views.A person with a healthy, stress free and balanced mind moves with the flow of life, undeterred and undisturbed by all external circumstances. Mind and phsical health are intimately linked;the state of welbeing or misery of one influences the other proportionately. Longevity is the direct result of one's choices, attitude and actions in living one's life in relation to the people and the environment(social/physical)where one lives. May God bless you a long life with peace and happiness!!
