After recover from a serious disease, the doctor recommend me to have vitamin every day. But I often forget to have it. And sometimes I take it as fertilizer for my flowers. I find it is effective if there is a white ulcer spot. Just put the tablet on the ulcer spot, and it will disappear in 1 or 2 days. Do you often take vitamin C?

I often have to take vitamin C because I have a very unhealthy diet. I take many pills, like Iron tablets and other things. I do not like vegetables, fish or other things as I am picky, so, I must take a few tablets in order to keep a little healthy at least.

Vitamin C helps to improve immunity. If ones immune system is strong, he will not get any disease. So taking Vitamin C everyday is really good. Another important fact is that if there is excess vitamin C in the body, it gets excreted through urin. So one does not have to worry about that too. I used to take vitamin C regularly few years ago. But some how I stopped and now after reading your discussion, I remembered again and will start taking it again. I did not know that it can be used as a fertilizer for flowers. Thanks for sharing this information. I will try it.

For someone who is always on the go it is important to take multi-vitamins not only vitamin C. I always take my multi-vitamins because I cannot work out much and I don't want to be sick. Aside from eating healthy foods, taking vitamins also increases my protection from unwanted sickness and it makes me have a good night sleep so I feel refreshed the next day. Vitamin C is good for colds right? While multi-vitamins is good for all around protection.

Actually I use to take it but didn't find it really did much for me. I went to the health food store the other day to look for anything else that might boost the immune stystem and found elderberry extract. I took that while I had a cold and it cut my sick time by half. But in your case I'd stick to the vitiman C to hopefully keep you from getting sick again if you are recovering. You don't want to get anything while you are recovering and you need something that will help the immune system when you aren't sick. The elderberry extract instructions say to take it when you are already sick, which I was at the time. But if you do get sick you might want to look into, but I'd ask your doctor first since you are in recovery.
