it will affect a lot.. must be the same religion to be able to understand each other well

No need any religion in between husband a wife. Just you both was to love each other and undestand each other. And you want to enjoy the Life with out any disputes and misunderstandings. Be happy with your wife. Don't Think about religion.

Well it is not a must but it is better so that both can communicate better and understand each other better yea .
