Do you get 8 hours of sleep every day?

With the pace of life getting faster and a gazzillion things to do in a day, I'm just wondering how many of us here really get to sleep for eight uninterrupted, glorious hours every day? Oh well, count me out. I only average around 4 hours every night (or is it morning already? hehehe!). There's just so much to do - for the family and for work - and so little time. I'm finding it almost impossible to squeeze in social gatherings in my schedule...unless of course it's one that would last all the way till the next morning. I guess, insomnia has taken over my life. The doctor advised me not to lie down unless I'm really, really, sleepy. Sometimes, hard as i try, even as i close my eyes, i am still thinking about things that i still need to get done. Grrr! I can't even call that a nightmare because I still haven't gotten to sleep yet. Streeeeeeeeessssssfffuuuuulll! ;( Anyway, as I write this, I've got around a good 6 hours more before I wake up again... So, do you guys really get 8 hours of sleep?

LOL.. I have some sleeping disorder. I can have 2 days without sleeping or 3 days with only 3 hours of sleeping but I also able to sleep for more than 25 hours. I take it as a good thing because it means I have the flexibility of time and that means I could do anything I want to do when I was awake and have the total rest when I was sleeping that much LOL. But 8 hours? I should honestly answer NO LOL
