Question: What is the basis of Mylot in deleting duplicate discussions?

I am just wondering how the MyLot admins decide which discussion to delete. Like for example in this scenario, there are two identical discussions, the first discussion was posted 2 days ago and the 2nd discussion was posted just now. The first discussion has 0 responses while the 2nd discussion has more than 10 responses. If you are an admin of MyLot and you saw these 2 identical discussion, which of the two discussion are you going to delete? Is it the first discussion that has 0 responses or the 2nd discussion which has more than 10 responses? If I am an Admin of MyLot, I think I'm going to delete the 2nd discussion even if it has more than 10 discussions because for me, I think the first person who posted the discussion has the right to the duplicate topic

I think the first person who posted the discussion has the right to the duplicate topic I agree - just as long as that wasn't a dupllicate of one of the other discussions posted here in the several years sine MyLot started

It sounds kinda hard to filter all those messages. I think MyLot could just merge all the duplicate topics into one discussion.
