hamburger and hot dogs??

My friend was having a hamburger for lunch. He said it was so funny that they call
it.hamburger when there is not any ham in it only all beef.??? My question is why
do they call hot dogs. which is a bun and a we inner. can*t they leave the name.
And change it which well be better. than picking on the dogs?????

thats sounds good huh???anyway like us when u say hotdogs thats probably thats the part of a man ...im sorry but then when it is says that burger it makes me hungry
