Marquez vs Cassamayor

The fight ended with a knockout by Marquez over Cassamayor in the 135 lbs weight division. Marquez is now the new lightweight champion of the world. He's really following Pacquiao's footstep by going up in weight divisions. He really wants to fight Pacquiao again. Do you think by this win a Marquez vs Pacquiao III can happen even though Pacquiao is going up again at 147lbs?

It may happen but not soon. After Oscar dela Hoya, there's a huge possibility that Manny Pacquiao will take on Ricky Hatton. Another megabuck matchup.

Exactly! and there's a rumor that after fighting Ricky Hatton, Floyd Mayweather will come out of retirement to fight Manny Pacquiao for another megabuck fight.

Possible. Depends on the offer. As for Pacquiao gearing up for new weight fight against Dela Hoya. I doubt it would materialize. There's a lot to consider. But if he wants to lose weight just to fight again with Marquez is not gonna happen. Boxers often needs to gain weight than lose weight if they want to gain advantage on the bout.

I dont think its gonna happen! If they go for trio they should fight another 1 more fight for marquez to prove himself he beat the pacman.
