Do you believe that the mercury that was in vaccines years ago link to Autism? I have done some research on this and would love to hear what other people think about it. My question is why on earth would they put it in vaccines in the first place?

mercury is pointless. it doesn't need to be in vaccines at all. not even the smallest drop.

The rate of autism skyrocketed between 1989 and 2003. Currently there are more than a half million children in the US who have autismn. Study shows a direct relationship between mercury in children's vaccines and Autism.Published in the Journal of American's Physicians and surgeons, the data show since mercury has been removed from childhood vaccines, the reported rates of Autism and other neurological disorders not only stopped increasing but they actually dropped by as much a s 35 percent. They removed mercury (thimerosal ) from the vaccines in 2002. http://www.thimerosal-news.com/ Please take a look at this site

Well first let me tell you that mercury is still in some childhood vaccines as we speak. Each year the vaccine dose went up && that is also when the Autism rates went up. They did remove some of mercury in most childhood vaccines some years ago && when they did this the rates in Autism did actually go done some. So it does make you wonder. Today some people believe its not just mercury && maybe a mixture of all the poison in vaccines that might trigger or even cause Autism. The biggest talk right now is the MMR vaccine && so many parents truly believe that the MMR is what caused or triggered their childs Autism ... I must say I also agree to some point that the MMR could be part of the problem. Here is a link you might find interesting... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-376203/Former-science-chief-MMR-fears-coming-true.html After reading that, I believe it points more to vaccines being the cause in some cases && it's also kind of scary that the government is hidding so much stuff from us just because they are scared of how we parents will react. Also their are several cases right now going on in court over the MMR being linked to Autism && if you havn't heard already, one family has won their case && it was ruled that the MMR did cause the childs Autism. I believe this case was going on in Atlanta, Georgia. Plus there are several others pending all over the US. So with all the information out there, I would say, yes, vaccines (MMR) can cause or trigger Autism. I believe even without mercury, although mercury is still found in some vaccines, I believe its a mixture. So even with no mercury, parents should still research vaccines.

Well, I think people hear DOCTOR && assume they are rich. I don't think thats the case. I know some very well known doctors && they might be wealthy, but I wouldn't say rich. As for the case, there is many more, I just was giving an example. But doctor or not they deserved to be heard. As for the money part, they deserve it. It cost so much money to care for an Autistic child.

The case you speak of in Georgia is rather funny in my opinion. The couple suing were both doctors I believe....and their daughter is very high functioning I believe. I thought how nice people who are already rich just got richer.

This is an ongoing debate and concern..... As for my boy, I do not see where Vaccines played any role in his Autism! I believe my boy was born with it as I had feeding issues from day one and he was severely jaundiced and had a weak suck as well as rigidity in his body when dressing him and changing his diaper etc and he hated the bath and water over his head... Nothing to do with vaccines in my opinion as he did not get his first round of shots until two months of age so.... However, I do think that it is wise if they do use Thimerasol Free Vaccines. My boy was born in 2003 supposedly after they started using the mercury free vaccines...Who knows! It is not fully proven or found exactly what is the cause or root of this disorder and so my thought is that it is better fought with spreading awareness, early diagnosis, and ABA Therapy coupled with Speech and Occupational Therapy and one-on-one teaching to bring them as far as we can and lots and lots of love!! ~Heavens~

Yeah its a debate that will never have a right side. People have different views && different cases. My son was also afraid of water as an infant && seemed to never have eye contact && some problems with not responding to sounds. I thought he had a hearing problem. But my son started talking a little around 10 months. Then he had the MMR at 15 months && then changed from mild to severe. So in my case I think it was a trigger. && as far as I know the MMR doesn't have mercury in it, but the MMR seems to be linked to Autism still. && there is mercury in some vaccines today. They didn't fully remove mercury in 2003. They lowered doses in some && removed some, but not all. I think mercury is pointless, but I also think there is so many other stuff in vaccines that is pointless && that cause harm to our children. We can pick && choose what goes in our child. I think each vaccine should be studied close by parents before they make that choice.

I believe that the mercury is triggering something in some children that can causes Autism. Also i believe some children would be autistic with or without the vaccines. There is a steady increase in the number of children being diagnosed with autism and that has me concerned. I also know of a woman whose child was developing normally until after one of the vaccinations. He stopped talking, walking and everything and she strong believes it was because of the vaccination.

Probably the MMR vaccine. The MMR has caused a lot of signs in Autism. So many kids went from talking, pointing, waving && so on from a non-verbal, non gesturing child after the MMR. MMR has changed many children, so the parents seem to claim...

I dont think the rate of autism is going down...it was one in every 165 kids..now its one in every 150. I dont think its the vaccines. I am not sure what it is but I dont think that is it. My daughter had a reaction to her MMR, seizures..so she never got anymore...and when I had my son I cited religious reasons and didnt get him any MMRs....yet he has autism. There is no genetic history of it in my family either. I think they need to find a cure though.

Well if it was 165 && now it's 150, then that would mean it went down. A little. But it rises each year && at times will go down && it dropped only when the dose in vaccines was lowered. Go figure.

LOL! Slap me now... I misunderstood your comment. For some reason I thought you were saying that Autism rates were going down, when they are actually not, they are going up. But there was a period of time when they went down && that was when they lowered the dose in vaccines.

Um I dont know where you took math but 1 in 150 is higher than one in 165. That would make it 2 out of 300 instead of 1 out of three hundred....that means autism is RISING not decreasing.

I just saw a video on what is in vaccinations and I don't think I was a sshocked as I should have been..Seems people in power and with money allows these kinds of things..I also saw that some states will allow you to not vaccinate your child and still send them to school. My son is 6, so he is caught up until 7th grade and I hope I can convince my husband that these shots can be dangerous..

I always though that mercury was supossed to be a bad thing. I remember hearing that you should watch eating fish because of the mercury levels. Or am I mistaken? My daughter is autistic. I actually do think that it might have something to do with vaccines. My daughter had reached all her mildstones and there was never any red flags. Everything was normal until she was almost 3 years old and then all the sudden she was a different kid. I think that they add too many things to these vaccines and they combine them way to much in my opinion. In the state that I live in, they don't even make it required that your child gets the vaccines anymore. I still do though and both my kids have had all theirs only for the fact that they protect from other terrible things. This is just my opinion.
