fried rice

fried rice do they really fried the rice in a pot of oil or is it just a name for it do you have an experience?

Nope, not in a pot of oil if not it would be a pot of oily fried rice. We fry with a bit oil with garlic to go first then the ingredients then the rice.

Hi, we use only a bit of oil for fried rice. The type of cooking that you mentioned (in a pot of oil) is deep frying. We do that for chicken wings, fish or even fries!

Not really in a pot of oil. Here in our country, we saute garlic in a little oil then add the rice. it is advisable to use rice that was cooked the day before. Turns out real great! That's just the basic fried rice. Of course, if you want some variation, you can always add hotdogs, bacon, fried egg, peas and the like before you add the rice itself. A meal in itself.
