Do you switch the lights off when watching a movie? Most people say they leave light on when they are on computer because might make eye sight worse, so do you keep lights on when watching a movie? Because obviously at a movie there are no lights lol but what about when you are at home?

I switch the lights off when watching a movie. It makes it more cozy and comfortable while watching and it makes you feel like you're watching the movie at a theater. Also, I don't like keeping the lights on because sometimes, there is a glare on the monitor/tv screen which is annoying when watching a movie.

Ah, glare's a great, practical point. I usually close my blinds regardless of whether I have the lights on or off; my window happens to face the way the sun sets and the glare is horrible until it does. When the lights are on the glare annoys me sometimes, but it's not too strong/bad.

I do not switch of the lights when watching movies at home. Half the time I am multitasking while watching movies. I find it too boring to be sitting continuously for three hours in front of the television!

I always have the lights off when watching a movie (not really TV though, it doesn't require such a serious atmosphere ;). I don't find that it affects my eyesight. I like having everything dark except for the glow from the TV, but my family doesn't so I often don't get my way unless I'm watching it alone. It's especially effective if you're watching a horror movie at night and everything's dark.
