could vettel deserves to be called the "baby schumi"? already being called and labeled by german press as such and winning the italian GP with astonishing fashion and stunning everyone in the world including the race favorites and to think it is a wet weather track out there. would he be? it is still too early to say so, one win, won't make him the next schuey and there is no camparison to be made, considering schumacher has far more superior car than his.

I throughly enjoyed the race, wow baby shumi! Shumi is called the rain master, and vettel is certainly living to that claim. The win was a combination of correct strategy, setup and tonnes of luck. Yet again, take nothing back from Vettel, what a race, even the maccas can't keep up!!

exactly.. veterans were nothing during that race even hamilton who has proven already his wet weather driving skills but again the race was decided with flawless strategy and pure instincts. if hamilton had just listen to his instincts and use an intermediate tires then probably he had gone first in the chequered flag. but 7th place is not bad at all since he came from 15, darting in and out, leaving behind kimi and 7 more drivers and even massa hasn't move a position from the starting grid.

vettel is committed with toro rosso until 09 and i believe he will be transferring to sister company red bull after then yet BM is lobbying for him as well after his overwhelming victory.

I'm not a big hamilton fan but then again, nobody can deny his ability and skills, I do hope a driver like vettel will join the big 3, Ferrari, Maccas, or BMW! Yeap i like BM! haha

It's too early for anyone to say whether he is the next Schumacher. to be a Schumacher you need to repeat the performances again and again 1 performance is not enough . he drove a great race in wet conditions in Monza but it could be clearly seen his car had an advantage over the other's in the wet condition. i don't mean to say that Sebastian VEttel is not a good driver or for that matter a bad driver i mean to say he needs to do this again and again because Champions are not made in a single day it takes years of struggle and especially to be a champion of Schumacher stature you need much more than hard work and struggle you need the hand of God.

you are absolutely right, but the first win is enough for someone to be motivated to do more and hoping to excel. he told eventually said the same as what you have mentioned, yet winning in a rain soaked race is not bad at all and how much more if it is not? anyway, let's just see what will happen in singapore on the 28th.

Vettel to be called the "baby schumi" maybe not yet.He has show the world that he has the skills and the self belief to be a winner that certainly deserves a praise but to be called baby schumi at such an early stage is just going beyond the limits. He has shown major improvement since last season and so has toro roso.we will just have to wait and see if he can keep up this pace and then decide.

that's right. he have said the same thing too and that it is still too early to compare something but he told the press not to compare him to the legendary schumacher. yet they share one common trait, both are down to earth person.

there was already a dramatic improvement in his driving skills since last season and you are right that it is still too early to say so but at least we are seeing something in him towards that path. last sunday's game is a wet race and outclassing the rest of the favorites including hamilton is even great already. he just delivered a flawless race and to think he is still 21 years old. a lot of room for improvement still.
