Are you from Singapore? To answer your question. Studies are indeed getting a bit tougher nowadays, not like what the older generation claims as it to be relaxing and stress-free. However, they do not know we have our own fair share of problems. Like your problem.. it is an example. Try to use this as a kind of motivation to perform well in the A's rather then to feel so demoralised and affect your results for it. Adopt a more positive attitude, as scoring badly for the prelims is not the end of the world. In fact you can turn it to a kind of motivation, and strive to do better in the major exam. It is not too late. There is time to catch up.Try harder! I wish you all the best!

I am from Singapore as well. The competition is tough. so work harder really. Get help everywhere. When you attain high and good results, you are so going to smile to yourself and everything will be paid off. Play less, learn more for the last few months! GO GO GO!

Failures are the stepping stones to success.I have been through the same situation in my life.I was really let down when i had a low result. But my family and fiends supported me.This really boosted my self confidence and i was able to perform really well in my next exams. From that incident i realised that if we have the self confidence and with some hardwork we can achieve anything we desire.

I would feel bad if I didn't do as well but I will study harder to get a better result for the test in November. I would look closely where I went wrong so that I would not make the same mistakes. Goodluck!
