Which is your preference - A notebook or Laptop or Desktop? I actually have a Desktop and am feeling comfortable with it. But of course the laptop and notebooks are more handy and comfortable to carry and use. Which one of these you own or use? Which do you feel is better and in what sense? Kindly share.

I use a desktop at ma workplace. But a laptop at my home. I find that more comfortable while at home, bcoz i can use that from my bed, when i need to shift things around etc. At workplace, i am not given another option , so am using a desktop. I think one other advantage of a laptop is the portability, when i go to my native place, i can carry it.

I prefer a desktop because they are much more expandable compared to laptops, and since i'm a programmer, i need more than one screen where the desktop helps a lot. But for portability, i can't live without a laptop...But i'm more biased to desktops.

They're the same thing, although they really shouldn't be called "laptops" since not all of them can be operated on a person's lap, on account of the heat being generated by the machine. :D "Notebook computer" may be the more appropriate term instead, since these devices open very much like a notebook.

I prefer a desktop. It is more powerful and cheap also than laptop. And its spare parts are really cheap than laptop. It is best for gaming or seeing movie.Laptop is only good as it is portable.

a laptop or a desktop well they both have there ups and downs. with a desktop your kinda teathered to one point but you can do everything you need to do on a desktop you can on a laptop. realy depends on what kind of lifestyle you have. when i go out i dont want to have to deal with anyone thats why i leave my phone at home or turn it off when i go out lol. i have a decent tower right now i need to upgrade the ram on it thos. i used to have a laptop till i finaly got mad and killed it lol. it was a 300 something mghz cpu with a 128 mb pc100 ram card. not woth the money to upgrade lol. i decided to make an art peice out of it by ripping the keyboard out and hitting it with a blowtourch and tearing out the ciircuit boards and plastering it onto my wall. go i sound like such a nerd.

Laptops are more convinient as compared to desktops. I myself have a desktop but saving money for laptop and also have increased my minimum payout here on MyLot to $100 so I can buy a new laptop after getting my first payout from here.

We only have a desktop computer, I don't really want a Laptop, I spend to much time on the one we have. But for work I might have to get one. I'll have to learn something new if I do, that's ok becasuse I love learning new things.

I really like my desktop, but it's just not as practical as the laptop. I have both set up and I kind of wander back and forth between them. I am not really comfortable while using my laptop and I worry about getting cancer or something by keeping it on my lap. I have a lap cover but I still worry. My desktop is getting old though, so I will probably only have a laptop soon.

I own one notebook being used in office or on travel, and one desktop at home, all can be freely connected to the net, so no any inconvenience for my use of computer for work or entertainment or sth else.

I preferred to choose laptop.. It's easy to use very handy and the keyboard are soft to touch unlike the desktop keyboard very hard to use. Another thing why I like it because I can bring it to anywhere I go. When I travel I can bring it with me.. Even when brownouts I can still do editing my works. Very handy and easy to use...

That depends on how you work. If your work or play requires more raw power then the desktop pc is a must. It is easier to upgrade compare to laptops or notebooks. If you prefer the convenience of mobility or it is required in your work. A laptop or notebook is the machine for you. Cheers!

well i have a desktop and i am happy with it. i know notebooks are more handy and easy to carry. they also needs less space but the performance of desktops is better than laptops. it totally depends upon your need what you want. if you are employee of some company then you have to make some presentations and all. in this case you need notebook. but i am a student and as a student i need computer for my studies and some entertainment. i also play some games. so i have a desktop. we can't play high quality graphics games on laptops because quality of integrated graphic card is very low in laptops. in desktops we can upgrade the graphic card. the desktops are cheaper then laptops. laptops and notebooks are very costly. well i can say it totally depends upon your need

I use a Desktop PC in the office and I use a laptop at home. I actually prefer using a desktop because they are usually faster, easier to upgrade and more durable compared to laptops. The only upside to laptops and notebooks are, they are quite compact and are easier to transport.

see that depends on what type work you generally do??? if u r a student ..u will spend more time on games and fast typing mechanism....for them desktop is handy...cost effective if u r professional....then laptop is the best if u r CEO/Executive.....notebook is more handy

I prefer notebook because it is comfortable for me to take it anywhere.I can go anywhere and bring it with me.It more helpful when I must doing my assigment or some work. For playing game I prefer Desktop because the screen more wide and we can turn on the speaker up.
