3- Point Line Too Close?

I have had this conversation going on with my friends. We have discussed if the 3 point line in basketball is too close? I myself play basketball and in my opinion the line could be brought back a little bit more, just to make 3 pointers a bit harder and more respected.
What do you myLotters think?

hmmm.. i dunno about respect, but distance isn't really the key. if you're a tall guy, then the 3-point area may be close.
regular basketball courts need to follow FIBA regulations and its measurements. unless you're in the NBA, our 3-point line sticks with FIBA measurements.
but hey, theres no violation for throwing a shot beyond the 3-point line. hehehe..
