What Do You Use Wiki For?

For anything! Anytime there is something I don't know much about and I want to document about it I come here. It's the best you can find out there.

I go to wiki just to read up about stuff. I'm not in school anymore, so I don't do that much research. When I am curious to learn about something, I look it up on wiki right away.

i usually search articles when i am in need of any article or information. wikipedia helps me greatly during those times. i am much satisfied with wikipedia always. very rarely i try other sites for my needed information. and i am happy to say that i donated 10 dollars for them!

I use Wikipedia just for fun. I doubt I would be able to easily find a teacher or school that would allow students to use Wikipedia as one of their sources. Of course I think it's an understandable reason, as much as I love Wikipedia. After all, anyone and their mother can update articles on Wikipedia so long as they have an account.

its a really cool site. I guess it is always helpful for learning new things, be it about medical sciences, history, finance, different terms, etc. whatever i always lookup wiki for the best

for trivia, mostly for music, literature and movies.

Our school here doesn't like the children using the internet as a resource for studies but if they have to then make it a reliable source which wiki isn't. It is made by anyone and at times I have seen things that were wrong. So for quick info that isn't really important fine, but if it was for something important I would find another source for sure.

Hi, I use Wikipedia for various kinds of information ;say on a particular country , region , ethnicity etc .

i use wikipedia for my basic searching needs. easy to use, simple and i find numerous sources of info.

I've used Wikipedia loads lately. I was making some word searches for my kids. They chose lots of topics, and I had to find lots of words for those topics to make into a word search. These topics were things like Power Rangers Jungle Fury - where I needed all the character names, or High School Musical songs. I love it, you don't always need 100% accuracy, sometimes you just need a lot of information quickly - and I have been very lucky that the information I have needed has always been accurate.

I use wikipedia for general information along with imdb However i also use wikipedia for my job to confirm details, but wikipedia is just a first call, i obviously need to back it up with other sites. wikipedia is handy for general knowledge but anything more than that you need to search deeper. but good site overall

Well, I don't like Wiki, due to the fact that anyone can edit any articles. That's why I usually find other websites to back up whatever information Wiki has.

I usually go to wikipedia :D to do it my homeworks, and sometimes when i want to read for something specific i just put it and see its if i can learn something !!! i really like it wikipedia this is a nice place to read or do things to learn something!!
