Are you a Battered Woman or Man?

I am not a battered woman, I think I am so independent I don't think I would be around after the first hit, I know some women are not in the position to just go and I feel for you if that is the case, but I feel no man has the right to bash his wife or any woman, I hope things work out better for you in the future.

ure not alone.I have similar question like u. i was also a battered person. It first happened after 2 months when i gave birth. u can imagine every type of beating i had undergone with. punches, slaps,swirling my head and try to crash it on walls, choking (feet on air), punching on mouth,my cheeks was bleeding inside of too much grip. got a broken finger, went for a pedia check up for my son while my lips are bleeding and everyone was staring, it was humiliating. Got my head bump on the sharp corners of the stairs, everything. It was very traumatic. I was on this situation for 3 years. share me your story nocturnica.
