People always say "drink at least eight glasses of water a day. I was just wondering, what if you drank too much water? Say, 16 or 24 glasses a day or even more. Would that be unhealthy? What I know is that anything in excess is not good. Is water one of them?

I do not know what the limit is, but yes you can drink too much water. It is called water intoxification and it is quite serious. It is called HYPONATREMIA. It disturbs the elecrolyte balance in the body and washed out too much sodium.
