More Stars = More pay?..

just curious about this.. im new here n really cant find a clear cut answer on this.. also, does more responses on your started discussions make u more money too? or up your rating?

My friends said that if you have a star it can up your ranking over here and it helps you earn more money too. Hope this helps.
