What are your belifs of the end of the world???

i learned in religion that catholics believe about the Rapture. angels will come out of the sky and kill us all and only save some people. i don't believe that. i believe that maybe something like a asteroid or because we can not save our environment may be the end of the earth. i want to know about other religions saying about the end of the earth and the scientific belief also i wanna here your own input about it
