Energy pills. Did they ever work for you?

I am one of those poor souls that has fallen victim to energy supplements. I used to work in a convenient store where I would take "stackers" :5 hour energy" and so on. I also drank 10 red bulls in one shift! I serously don't know how my heart is still beating. Anyway, how many of you have done these same things and have they worked? When I first took them I lost 40 pounds, but now I have put it back on(I stopped taking the pills). Have you ever met someone that might have been addicted to over the counter supplements like these? How healthy to you think they are for an individual? Is it possible for them to mess up a person metabolism by taking these pills? What are your views?

i use to take the yellow jackets and stackers until they started making me sick.i would say they are bad for you especially the ones with ephedra i mean for me they made me shacky but i got a rush from them.now i just take b6 which is a natural vitaminthat boost your metabolism.i haven't never met anyone addicted to them though but i'm sure its possible just like pain meds and it probably could get your metabolism off track especially taking them for a long time then stopping cause that would be putting a change to your body that its not use to.

I take B complex vitamins now, along with green tea. I no longer take the other stuff. They made me sick too.
