I like the oldies better. They don't talk about pimps and hoes. They talk about love and peace. It has a soothing quality about it. I think we as a society lost the purpose of living. We lost the feeling of loving and "it's my party and I'll cry if I want to". We lost sight of missing the one we love. The oldies lifted us up when we were down. Now it's all about rap and nonsense. I say the old stuff needs to come back on shelves. The new stuff is good but it's also not something we want our children listening to. The old stuff is something I would allow my 1 year old child listen to on a long drive. 50 cent, Britney Spears, Eminem...Not so much. That's just what I think though.

I love 60's music I just love the rawness of it, I don't think it will ever die, its music that will go on forever, I think it had a very special sound...

I totally agree with you. In fact I think that some of the new music is missing that special sound to it

I love the oldies also! I wasn't born then either. I am 20 i half of the music i have is the oldies. I do like the music they have playing now but when i want to relax that is what i find my self listening to mostly!
