I think family meals is a good thing. We don't always have them but we do sometimes. Even thougth not everyone comes to the table, my brother usually will come a get his plate and then go sit in the living room. so yes at times we do have family dinners. Especially on holidays but I think most people do for the holidays.

hi friend When i was a child i sometimes use to dine with my parents and sometimes just myself because my dad is so busy with his job and even sometimes he dont have time to dine with us. Now i'm married and i'm with my husband. We definetely sit and dine at the same time and talk to eachother.

When I was staying with my parents, yes we always eat together as a family. Now, being married and have three kids, not to say that we dont eat as a family but when we tried, the kids would cause havoc. So for the time being, it is better for us not to eat together. But i do wish that when all of them are big enough, I would love that all of us to eat together as a family as i believe it will make us closer. Perhaps during dinner time as during the day, everyone is busy with their 'stuffs' kids with school, husband with work etc.

Hello, me and my family used to eat altogether, but as time is passing by, this nice tradition is becoming less frequent. Actually, there is not much we can do since all of my family members arrive home at a different time and so it is impossible to eat altogether as a family!!

Ever since, we are accustomed to eat as a family. Now that my siblings and I live away from my parents, we still do eat together. When parents are with us, we never fail to eat as a family. On special occasions, we tend to eat out as a family too! Perhaps this is one great Filipino tradition inculcated in us. It does is beneficial too because it foster stronger bonds in the family. :)

Most of the time yes we do, maybe once or twice a week my hubby wants to eat in the living room and the kids eat at the table, and I'll sit with him. My kids are young and I think its important to spend time together eating and talking about our days.

Yap, i eat as a family every day but someday i miss my dad with us. It is good for all to eat as family because there is a chance to know about the family member. My mother and father asks me and my brother and sister what about their study condition, problem etc. In a word, it is pleasant for me when i eat as a family

Yes, we usually eat as a family. It's like a habit for us or a rule of some sort. whenever it's time to eat we usually wait for everyone to gather in the table before we start. I guess that way it also helps improve the relationship with your family, moreover you could also discuss some things like problems and interesting experiences.

When I was younger I thought it was a rule that could never be broken to eat as a family. We used to run tto the table when mom called us but not because we were super hungry or anything but because then my mom would make it a big deal if youu werent there. But we do have a lot of fun talking as a family.

We eat together almost every night. My son made a huge deal about it when we finally got a kitchen table and I think it helps us get a long and bond.

Yes, dinner is the only time we can really eat together as a family. In the morning, each one is in a hurry to go to work or school so it's hard to gather all for breakfast. Lunch is normally done either at school or at work so dinner is the only meal left for us to gather together. I would be very sad if during dinner the family can't still get together. We do make it a point to gather as a family during dinner. We are only 3 in the family and when one is not around yet... we would wait till we are all complete before we partake our dinner. Yes, it is the time for sharing as well.

Yes, we do. I join my family (wife and kids) during breakfast and dinner because this is one of the happiest times at home. Breakfast because we talk what could happen the whole day, and the what happened the whole day during dinner. Eating together is always fun and it bonds us together as a family.

We never eat as a family anymore. My dad works alot, and is gone almost every day for 20 hours. Everyone else is consumed in their own lives. Maybe one day it will happen, but i'm not holding my breath.

My family (being my husband, my son, and myself) usually have at least one meal together. My family (my mom, dad, and myself) not so much seeing as I no longer live with them. My husband and I usually eat together and then feed the baby or I feed the baby first and then my husband and I eat. It's difficult these days for us to eat together. We do it when we can though.

We try to always have dinner together and on the weekend I get up and make a big breakfast for my wife and kids. It is a good social time for all of us and we have had some great discussions around our table.
