well for 2 years my hubby and i rented we paid 600 a month in rent and at the time we didnt think anything of it .we were really lucky his granddad gave us some land so we put a house on it we thank his granddad everyday because if it wasnt for him we may not have came as far as we are. do you think renting is throwing money away i do i feel you will have nothing to show for in that period of your life i understand that everyone has to rent when getting started and some people cant finance to buy thier own house what do you think

Hello,Heaven! Now I am living in my house which I have built after my retirement. It is a small house but I am quite happy that I am not required to pay rent to somebody every month. However,I had lived for nearly thirty years in rented house and I have bitter experience of life in a rented house.Thanx.

Yes,I do think that renting is throwing your money away.I am very lucky I have only ever rented for 1 year out of my entire life.I know that their are times when people have no choice, and they have to rent. But it is always much better if you can buy than rent. I myself have bought several houses, the one I now have thank goodness is paid for.

If you can't afford to buy a house I guess the alternative is renting! Renting for me it's not really a waste of money because you have a place to live in and you don't have to stay in the streets. If were not prefer to pay rent maybe we should think some alternative like living with our parents until we can afford to get a house. I am happy for you that now you are living to your own house that is probably a big relief for you that you don't have to pay rent anymore.
