Is marijuana safer than alcohol? or both are the same

Seeing I had a problem with both, I believe marijuana is because some doctors do prescribe it as a drug! Its just the miss-use that gets out of hand! no matter how high I got, I never got sick but I could always get too drunk! So I vote marjiuana is safer!
