we like cooking "sinigang" in a clay pot. "sinigang" is a native filipino dish which is basically sour base soup (from tamarind or young mango or guava) mixed with lots of vegetables and either meat or fish.. we also ike cooking rice in a clay poy.. we never tried cooking roast chicken though, but will love trying it later.. happy cooking!!!

I think the best food to cook in a clay pot is Adobo. With all its acids, we dont want our food reacting to the metal pots right? Adobo is a filipino delicacy which preparations differ depending on the province and the Adobo I know have a mixture of soy sauce and vinegar. I actually dont have any experience cooking on one. We have Palayok before but it was broken. We cant buy a new one. hehehe.
